What's up Everyone?

I guess this means one more Bus Trip on Sunday December 10th. Who would ever think  a CT band would be in the top 10 bands in The Boston Market? Not me! Because of the fact we have such good friends "The Degenerates" made it to the Final Round!

This round is the biggest of them all! The Final Round.....1 Winner.....If we win we go to California for a 1 week competition and  compete against all the top up and coming bands in the United States. Yup....That means the winners from  New York, LA, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Washington, Atlanta... all the hot spots. I would give me left leg for that chance....I can't give my arm cause I need it to play :)

Some of you might not know this, but I've been playing music since I was 10 years old. 10!

I was a huge KISS fan as a Kid....I used to tape smoke bombs on my guitar and run around my parents basement smoke up the joint like I was Ace Freely.  Ask my cousins. I used to also have my friends blast a fire extinguisher "the old school ones filled with toxic powder " and film myself trying to do a guitar solo while breathing in toxic fumes. Musicians sometimes aren't the smartest people, but we play for the love of music.

I played my first club when I was 14 years old and never stopped! I look back now and  I can't believe I'm still doing this. I love it so much! I can not stop. My ears ring all the time....I never sleep and I still want to play for nights we have recently had. I feel like a kid again! So personally..... It means the world to us when all you guys show up to party with us. I know the guys in the band feel the same way.....I've known them since they started playing with there first  bands....and I'm glad to be a part of this with them!  I wouldn't want it any other way!

Chris played a gig in NYC once. The gig started at 6pm before most people were even out of work.  Half way through the gig people starting coming in...  Only problem was that 7pm was the start of drag queen night.  The whole bar filled up with queens and with his long bleach blonde hair...he fit right in.

Tony played on super bowl Sunday 1989 at the bridges café (which is now a strip bar) It was the year the 49ers spanked the Denver broncos 55 – 10 or something like that...... there were two people in the bar (I was one of them) and they played through it. After the game turned into a rout about ten more people showed up so they played their first set over and over again.

Dave was marching in the Thanksgiving day football game at his high school. The biggest game of the year the whole school was there with friends, parents, the local press even the family dogs where there. So Dave's out on the field banging on his drum (Like he's cool) you know the drum set that you have to strap around your neck a smile like it so easy. Anyway he's playing away and his uniform gives out.... so he's the only moron standing in the middle of the field with his pants down to his ankles....The coach and his instructor are trying to pull his pants up cause he couldn't bend down to buckle them back up. Good times!

Thanks Mike, Chris, Tony, Dave!
